We are hiring one part-time employee starting in May, 2022. While there are no guaranteed minimum hours of work, we will consider your availability when scheduling work. These positions will appeal to physically active individuals who are interested in landscape/gardening and would like to gain experience through a part-time, on-call opportunity.

Garden Assistant
This is a part-time role with varying days and hours of work.
Hourly rate: $16 - $18 depending on experience and qualifications.
Company shirts, caps and hoodies will be provided.
Minimum requirements
Able to follow instructions and perform repetitive tasks including preparing sites for planting, moving plants and bulk material such as mulch and soil by wheelbarrow or bucket, using tools such as shovels, rakes, blowers, etc.
Flexible, friendly, action-oriented, safety-minded, reliable, hardworking, honest.
Physically fit; able to safely lift 30 pounds on own.
Available to work 8-10 hours on scheduled workdays.
Have reliable transportation to and from work; own steel-toed work boots.
Be eligible to work in Canada and able to speak and understand English.
1 year of work experience in an employment environment.
Nice to have
One year or more of experience in working with plants, gardening or landscaping.
Knowledge of ornamental gardens: perennials, shrubs, trees, weeding etc.
landscape gardener
This is a part-time role with varying days and hours of work.
Hourly rate: $19 - $25 depending on experience and qualifications.
Company shirts, caps and hoodies will be provided.
Minimum requirements
Able to follow instructions and perform repetitive tasks including preparing sites for planting, moving bulk material such as mulch and soil by wheelbarrow or bucket, using tools such as shovels, rakes, blowers, etc.
Site and install plants, mulch, stone in residential and commercial gardens and planters.
Flexible, friendly, action-oriented, safety-minded, reliable, hardworking, honest.
Physically fit; able to safely lift 40 pounds on own.
Available to work 8-10 hours on scheduled workdays.
Have reliable transportation to and from work; own steel-toed work boots.
Be eligible to work in Canada and able to speak and understand English.
5 or more years of work experience in an employment environment.
Three years or more of experience in working with plants, gardening, agriculture or landscaping.
